Formulation Guide: Dosage, Solubility & Matching Tips
Recommended dosage: 1.5%-5% of total formula weight; 1.5-3% for lightweight body lotion; 3-5% for rich facial cream when used as sole primary emulsifier. For high-oil-phase formulas, add 0.5-2% co-emulsifier for extra stability.
Solubility: Oil-soluble waxy solid, must be completely melted in oil-phase at 70℃-75℃; mix with water-phase heated to equal temperature under stirring / homogenization; insoluble in cold water.
Recommended matching ingredients: Perfectly compatible with mango butter, shea butter, cetearyl alcohol, jojoba oil, squalane, vitamin E, panthenol, glycerin and natural plant extracts.
Formulation Notes:
- Melting temperature should reach 70-75℃; incomplete melting will produce granular gritty texture.
