    The active ingredient of CMIT/MIT is Chloro-Methyl-Isothiazolinone and Methyl-Isothiazolinone with a mixture of 3:1, the total concentration is 14%, also known as Kathon. The isothiazolinones is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
