    Product Description

Kojic acid is a natural compound derived from fungi, particularly from the fermentation of certain species of mushrooms. It is widely recognized for its skin-lightening properties and is often used in cosmetic formulations to reduce the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone.
Aogebio® presents high-purity Kojic Acid Powder, a powerful natural skin brightener derived from fermented Japanese mushrooms. Our pharmaceutical-grade Kojic Acid powder effectively inhibits melanin production, reducing dark spots, age spots, and hyperpigmentation for a visibly brighter, more even complexion.

Key Benefits of Aogebio® Kojic Acid Powder:
Potent Skin Whitening – Blocks tyrosinase activity to prevent melanin formation
Hyperpigmentation Treatment – Fades sun spots, melasma & post-acne marks
Antioxidant Protection – Fights free radicals that cause premature aging

    Use

Generally, in whitening creams, lotions, and other products, the addition amount of kojic acid is usually around 1% - 4%. If the concentration is too low, the effect may not be obvious, while a too high concentration may increase skin irritation, causing discomfort reactions such as redness and itching.

For spot - lightening serums or gels used locally, the concentration of kojic acid may be slightly higher, between 2% - 5%. However, for such products, it is usually recommended to conduct a small - area trial first and then gradually expand the application range to observe the skin's tolerance.

    Applications

Kojic acid is primarily used in cosmetic formulations, including serums, creams, lotions, and soaps. It is often combined with other active ingredients to enhance its efficacy and stability.
