Product Description
CI 77288 is a cosmetic colorant that imparts a pretty green color to beauty products. It is often used along with CI 77891 (titanium dioxide white) to form different hues of green. CI 77288 is the INCI name of Chromium Oxide Green and is also known by its other name - Pigment Green 17. In its raw form, this colorant appears as a forest green powder. Although safe for use in small quantities, Chromium Oxide Green is prohibited from use in lip products as it can cause side effects on sensitive areas. The chemical formula of CI 77288 is Cr2O3.
